    1. From examining a range of relevant texts I have come to the conclusion that the fundamental abhidhammic mode of analysis hinges inextricably and is entirely reliant on the "substance ontology" that is found incised throughout every facet of its conceptual, intentional and procedural outlay.

    2. The "fundamental abhidhammic mode of analysis" is apt, compact and elegantly centred. The following citation has proved to be helpful in orientating the usual perspective towards twigging this hyperthetic position statement: "Pathavi means the element of extension, the substratum of matter. Without it objects cannot occupy space" (Abhidhammattha Sangaha of Anuruddhacariya: A Manual of Abhidhamma, ed., trans. from Pali and notes by Narada, Chapter VI "Analysis of Matter") http://www.lioncity.net/buddhism/index.php?showtopic=24966.

Sustance as dravyasat or substance as svabhavavat? Or probably substantial as the vicДЃrДЃvaЕ›eб№ЈСѓa...

None are agocaric to the hyperthetic placement.

That's true. We can always (hyper) posit some underlying entity behind any type of reductive attitude. And this hyperthetic activity has to be itself subdued, oppressed, turned into an ongoing object of nirodha. Until the final state of niruddha-bhumi is arrived at. Then we will discover the asubstantiality of all Self-pretences of matter (Selbst-An-SprГјche, oder besser AnsprГјche-Auf-Selbst der Prakб№›ti).
