Mimamsa means karanmimamsa. This implies in a general sense management. Why I am saying it is there are justifications and excuses in the management world in general. In India I find many people giving interesting excuses in the work environments.
Off course I am aware of Shabarmimamsa or critical commentary work that was undertaken in Chinmaya International Foundation (visit www.cif.org) in Kochin Kerala Inida. I hope they are still continuing over the last five years. Sarla Suresh was a reserach scholar working there on these topics. Dr Ramaswamy Iyyengar was the head. I heard he has left the organization.

Karanamimamsa is the investigation of instruments, while karmamimamsa is what is usually meant by Mimamsa, the investigation of the ritual acts. Is Mimamsa management? Why not. All our life is a concatenation of micro- and macro-actions of body, mind, and speech. Shrinks say many of our actions are rituals, or at least try to see them thus - as obsessive-compulsory actions. Freud even wrote an article explaining religious practices as compulsory actions. Dharma taken as norms to follow, i.e., as deontology, has also compulsory character - although the law that is Dharma is not enacted by some divine Adhipati, it has rather the svahbava of something self-imposed. Especially by those who fully understand it.

Anyway, an interesting topic for discussion.
